Eugene Steinberg
Technical Fellow, Head of Digital Commerce
Eugene Steinberg is the founding engineer at Grid Dynamics and a head of a Digital Commerce practice. As a Principal Architect and Consultant, Mr. Steinberg has delivered some of the most extensive Grid Dynamics programs, from inception to production to maturing. Mr. Steinberg has many interests, including digital commerce platforms, application of AI/ML to commerce, information retrieval, enterprise search, natural language processing, computer vision, as well as general science & art of building scalable distributed systems. He earned a Ph.D. in Applied Math from Saratov State University.
Stanislav Stolpovskiy
Head of Search Practice at Grid Dynamics
Stanislav is the Head of the Search practice at GridDynamics, with over 12 years of experience developing product discovery systems for prominent retailers. He has also accumulated more than 7 years of experience working on various machine learning and deep learning projects. Stanislav is passionate about ML, IR, and robotics, and he has been an integral part of the GridDynamics team since 2012.

Abstract: We will describe best practices and implementation patterns for integration of modern neural search techniques into production digital commerce product discovery systems. We’ll focus on practical approaches to hybrid traditional and vector search retrieval and ranking. We will also discuss leveraging state-of-the-art text-to-image models to achieve true multi-modal search experience, especially effective for marketplace search with unreliable content quality.
