Mid-Senior Java Engineer
Grid Dynamics is looking for a Mid-Senior Java Engineer to join our offices in Belgrade or Novi Sad.
Essential functions
- Build collaborative partnerships with architects, technical leads and key individuals within other functional groups
- Work with product and engineering team to understand requirements, evaluate new features and architecture to help drive decisions, work closely with GridDynamics and client’s Architects
- Actively participate in code review and test solutions to ensure it meets best practice specifications
- Attending meetings related to the project, initiate conversations, be a driver for both engineering and external teams (Product managers, Project managers, SAs, Tech Leads, QAs, stakeholders)
- Working hours strongly by 7.00 pm - 7.30 pm CET every working day (except Friday)
Qualifications
- Java 8+, advanced knowledge
- SpringBoot
- Cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- REST
- Docker
- eCommerce (especially Cart & Checkout) domain knowledge
- Serverless and Integration testing design experience (e.g. Wiremock)
- Team leadership skills
- Strong communication skills
- B2 level of English

- GraphQL

- Event streaming
- ComposableCommerce (CommerceTools)
- PSP (Payment Service Provider) flows
