Playwright Automation Testing
Grid Dynamics is embarking on an ambitious project to revamp the client online presence by addressing the challenges posed by their current VFT - Vehicle Finder Toold website. The primary objective of this project is to unify the Vehicle Finder tool experience into a single, best-of-breed platform that not only caters to the current needs but also sets the stage for seamless migration of other e-commerce experiences in the future. By introducing a modern and scalable tech stack, Client is positioning itself for future growth and adaptability.In addition to the technical upgrades, this project aims to introduce a comfortable and scalable solution for site management, taking into consideration the specific needs of the business team. This approach ensures flexible and clear maintenance, enabling client to respond to market changes swiftly. Quality Assurance will be a cornerstone of this project, as client is committed to maintaining the highest standards. The introduction of lifecycles and maintenance practices will be well-covered by observability and control toolsets, ensuring that the platform remains robust and reliable.In summary, For client' project represents a significant leap forward in their online presence, unifying their e-commerce experiences, embracing modern technology stacks, and establishing efficient site management processes while upholding their commitment to quality assurance and future scalability.
Essential functions
- Team lead/leadership skills
- JavaScript
- BDD experience
- Experience in accessibility testing is mandatory
- Test automation, performance testing
- Test case documentation best practices
- 5+ years of commercial experience with UI, API testing
- Cloud experience, preferably GCP
- In depth knowledge of software QA methodology, processes and tools
- Good communication skills and at least intermediate technical speaking English
- Understanding of general OOP and Functional programming concepts
- Linux/Mac hands-on experience
- Good understanding of code review process
Qualifications
Overall 6+ years of commercial experience with automation Testing with UI & API Testing.
3+ years of Javascript automation experience is required.
2+ years of hands on playwright automation is desired.
Would be a plus
- Selenide
- Jenkins or Bamboo as CI/CD tool
- Experience with payment systems (like Stripe integration)
- Experience in Banks/Fintech/Financial Service domains
- knowledge/experience with legacy (mainframe) transformation and loan origination systems and contract management systems is preferred
